For 9th consecutive year, Chandrababu & family declare assets

For the ninth consecutive year, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has declared his family assets voluntarily.
The Party general secretary and Naidu's son Nara Lokesh announced the asset details in a press conference and said that the value of these assets are disclosed at the rate at which they were bought and not current market price since current value could rise or fall based on several socio-economic factors.
According to Nara Lokesh, he along with his father Chandrababu Naidu have holdings in Heritage company and a huge part of the assets of the Naidu family are a result of the Heritage Group, which was set up by Chandrababu Naidu seven years ago.
According to the declaration, here's how much Naidu’s family’s assets are valued:
> Chandrababu Naidu's net assets increased by Rs 87 lakh from around Rs. 3 crore rupees to Rs. 3.87 crore since last year.
> His wife Bhuvaneswari's net assets increased from Rs. 31 crore to Rs. 39 crore in past one year.
> Lokesh's net assets decreased from Rs. 21 crore to Rs. 19 crore while his wife Brahmani’s net assets increased from around Rs. 7 crore rupees to Rs. 11.5 crore.
> The net assets of the youngest member of the family Devansh, who is the grandson of Chandrababu Naidu and is only six years old, rose from Rs 18 crore to Rs 19 crore.
Nara Lokesh demanded that YSR Congress party chief and the current Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy too should disclose his assets, while he challenges anyone to prove that if his family is shown to own a rupee more than their declared assets.
“There has been a lot of fake news generated over the I-T raids on Chandrababu's ex-secretary Srinivas’ house. This is despite only Rs. 2.63 lakh being found in his house as there was a wedding in the family.

But, Vijaysai Reddy alleged that Rs 2,000 crore rupees were found in his house. This is unbecoming conduct and we demand an apology for misleading the public,” Lokesh said while mentioning the recent I-T raids on several TDP leaders including former personal secretary of Chandrababu Naidu.
