AP gears up for elections in single phase on April 11th

The 17th Lok Sabha elections which have been creating a lot of heat this summer will be held in seven phases from April 11th, the Election Commission said. Counting will be done on May 23. 
 
Meanwhile, the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will also be held simultaneously along with the Lok Sabha polls. The term of the current Lok Sabha will end on June 3, 2019.
 
States going for elections in single phase:
 
Andhra Pradesh: All 25 seats in Phase-I to be held on April 11
Arunachal Pradesh: All 2 seats in Phase-I
Meghalaya: All 2 seats in Phase-I
Telangana: All 17 seats in Phase-I
Uttarakhand: All  5 seats in Phase-I
Tamil Nadu: All 39 seats  in Phase-II to be held on April 18
Gujarat: All 26 seats in Phase-III to be held on April 23
Goa: All two seats in Phase-III
Kerala: All 20 seats in Phase-III
Punjab: All 1 seats in Phase-VII to be held on May 19
Himachal Pradesh: All 4 seats in Phase-VII
