Telangana Govt resorted to data theft & deletion of voters: Actor Sivaji

Actor Sivaji dismissed allegations against the BJP-led central government that it was trying to divert the attention of the AP public by making charges against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on data theft.
He said that there was no involvement of the BJP in the case but that the TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, in collusion with YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was trying to hit the winning prospects of Chandrababu by raising some issues and diverting his attention, ahead of the general and Assembly elections. He even alleged that the TS  government was trying to keep the powers in national capital happy by dancing to their tunes.
In fact, the Telangana government had indulged in data theft in 2015, in collusion with the Election Commission, he said and even gave a demonstration on how data could be stolen, before the media. He said that names of several voters in the GHMC limits and Nizamabad district were deleted from the electoral rolls in a systematic way and reminded the apology tendered by Telangana’s chief electoral officer Rajat Kumar on the same.
The actor said that the names were deleted by collating the EC data with the demographic data collected by the State Resident Data Hub (SRDH). Further, he alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao has some ulterior motives in appeasing Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that Chandrasekhar Rao wants to steal the Vanpic lands and set up a port of his own which he can if Jagan Reddy became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Further, he also said that Chandrasekhar Rao was not able to digest the fact that the AP government earned Rs 1,000 crore more than the TS government in the last fiscal. “This apart, Rao also wants to make a dent to the image of Naidu, who is considered a statesman across the world.”
Sivaji also alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao wants to ensure that he destabilises AP, with regard to cultivable land and irrigation facilities, to render the state backward forever. “For this, he is trying to see that Rayalaseema does not get irrigation water permanently.”
By raising the issue of data theft at this crucial point, Chandrasekhar Rao is trying to keep Naidu pre-occupied so that he would not focus on electioneering, which could reduce his chances of victory. He said alleged that there was Chandrasekhar Rao’s role in the demolition of a portion of AP DGP R.P. Thakur’s residence in Hyderabad.
Sivaji said that Jagan lacks vision but still aims to become the CM of Andhra Pradesh, even when a number of cases were filed against him and he is under trial.
