Tirupati Bypoll: Jagan sends personal letters to beneficiaries in constituency

In a surprising move that has shocked a lot of welfare scheme beneficiaries in the Tirupati Lok Sabha Constituency, Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has personally sent letters to them as an indirect gesture to vote for YSRCP in the upcoming byelection.
In the signed letter, the Chief Minister explains to the beneficiary families the development and welfare programmes initiated by his government in the past 22 months. These letters were given to the families by the YSRCP cadre while seeking people’s support to party candidate Dr. Gurumoorthy in the byelection.
The letter contains a detailed list of all the welfare schemes/initiatives that the families have benefited from ever since the YSRCP government came to power in 2019. Jagan has written the letters in a strictly personal style.
Meanwhile, benefits extended to citizens under schemes like the YSR Sunna Vaddi, YSR Asara, Jagananna Vasati Deevena, Jagananna Vidya Deevena YSR Cheyutha, YSR Pension Kanuka, Jagananna Amma Vodi and Pedalandariki Illu have been listed elaborately.
The CM has also explained other aspects such as development of towns, villages, the welfare of women, farmers, the state’s efforts in the health and education sectors, the infra development works undertaken by the government and the YSRCP government’s stress on social justice.
However, going by this new move of the YSRCP, it is clear how the party is trying to keep its lead even in the bypoll which has become a prestigious fight for it, given that the TDP and BJP are also in fray and are equally battling it out in a constituency dominated by religion-based sentiment.
