Jagan invites Modi for swearing-in ceremony

YSR Congress supremo Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his swearing-in as Chief Minister in Vijayawada on May 30. He also urged Modi to consider according Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. He also explained to him the need for SCS to the state.
The YSRCP chief congratulated Modi for leading the National democratic Alliance to an astounding victory in the general elections. The Prime Minister wished Reddy for his party’s landslide victory in the Assembly polls.
Reddy, along with chief secretary and party MPs, submitted to PM Modi a detailed representation seeking Centre’s support to various state projects. He also requested the PM to release dues for the Polavaram project. Modi reportedly responded positively to Jagan’s requests and promised to look into the issues raised by him. He assured Jagan that the Centre would always help the states in the process of development.
YSRC MPs Vijayasai Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, V. Balasoury, Nandigam Suresh, Margani Bharath, Avinash Reddy and P.V. Mithun Reddy accompanied Jagan to the meeting.
