Women Voters may bring Babu back to power

It looks like the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) poll strategies have worked in its favour. If rumours emerging from the constituency-wise reviews are to be believed, it is learnt that the TDP cadre have informed AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu that they are positive about the party’s win after seeking feedback on booth-wise analysis.
This polling booth-wise review exercise, according to Naidu, gave the party leadership an overview of the party’s performance. After seeking reports from candidates, booth in-charges and polling agents, Naidu also sought information on voting trends in each constituency.
From all quarters of the TDP, it is heard that Chandrababu’s development works and welfare schemes pulled huge crowds to the polling booths. As reports have been indicating that it could be a pro-incumbency vote as there was a huge women voters turnout, TDP cadre believes that most of the voters did not look at local candidates but chose to go with Naidu’s image.
Apparently, women cadre in the party came upto Chandrababu and said that it was Pasupu Kumkuma scheme that brought women to the polling booths in large numbers. Some also expressed that Chandrababu’s unexpected “begging” moved many women who believed it was right for them to vote for TDP.  Well, for whatever reasons, looks like Chandrababu Naidu’s strategies have worked well on voters if this information is to be believed.
