Residents of Bihar village see stunning view of Mount Everest after decades

Residents of a village in Bihar witnessed a stunning view of the Mount Everest from their houses after decades on Monday. Due to minimal activity across states in the wake of the nationwide coronavirus lockdown, air quality has improved to a great extent while pollution has decreased.
An image of the picturesque Mount Everest, visible from Bihar, was tweeted by Parveen Kaswan of the Indian Forest Service as he mentioned in the caption of his post that Singhwahini village residents were able to see the mountains clearly.
“When people of Singhwahini village, Bihar saw Everest from their own houses. They say this happened after decades,” Parveen Kaswan tweeted.
The image was first made available online by Ritu Jaiswal who is the Mukhiya of Gram Panchayat Singhwahini. “We can see the Everest from our terrace today in Singhwahini village. Nature is balancing itself,” Ritu Jaiswal tweeted in Hindi.
Kaswan as well as Ritu Jaiswal's posts garnered several likes on Twitter. “Positive effects of lockdown,” a user said in the comments section. Several others said that it was “beautiful” sight and also posted heart emoticons in the comments section.
