Political jolt? This viral video of YSRCP MPs criticising Jagan on COVID plan is the new rage

In the middle of a raging pandemic too, YSRCP leaders will never leave an opportunity to brag about their achievements or praise their leader, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. But, somehow, they happened to be on the other side, this time.
With the second wave of COVID-19 being a huge challenge and taking a toll rapidly, India and its states are caught up with helplessness due to lack of resources or action plans. Similarly, the Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy-led government too has shrugged off its shoulders in controlling COVID in the state.
Neither is there any action plan nor any initiative to control the spread of infections in the state. Amidst this situation, YSRCP leaders too feel their government is not handling the circumstances well.
In a viral video, YSRCP MP Bharat Ram, Rajya Sabha MP Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, Rural coordinator Chandana Nageshwar, YCP former coordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao met at YCP coordinator Akula Satyanarayana’s house in Rajahmundry on May 3 to discuss on the ongoing Coronavirus crisis in the state.
During the meeting, the YSRCP leaders lamented that families of COVID patients were being fleeced. Taking advantage of the crisis, people are being charged Rs.30,000 to shift the bodies and Rs. 12,000 to perform the funeral rites. Some poor families are even seeking donations, unable to raise the amount, the leaders discussed.
They felt that the government, which should provide help to the bereaved families, was not doing the needful for the poor. Jagan is known for his concern for the poor and launching various schemes and programmes aimed at their welfare but since the outbreak of COVID-19 second wave, the CM seems to have gone into a complacent mood, political analysts observed.
Responding to the YSRCP leaders’ meeting video, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh mocked Jagan's inefficient rule on Twitter. By saying “Jagan em chesadu…. Bokka”, YSRCP senior MP Pilli Subash Chandra Bose belled the cat, Lokesh tweeted. The CM had done nothing to check the spread of COVID-19, Lokesh said and added that the CM had left the people to die their own death.
Lokesh also tweeted that none of the YSRCP leaders had the guts to make anti-Jagan comments in the public as they feared that he would take revenge on them. In his tweet, he also made a mention of Akula Satyanarayana’s remarks that the government was not maintaining the logistics or any data.
