How RRR is dropping truth bombs in Andhra Pradesh

YSR Congress rebel member in Lok Sabha K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju (popularly now known as RRR) has alleged that there is a constructive destruction of Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh and sought that a dharmic commission be established to address the issue.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the Parliament, he said: “In Andhra Pradesh, as of now, constructive destruction is happening with regard to the Hindu temples. So, let there be a commission, a dharmic commission or a Hindu commission, in line with Christian minorities or Muslim minorities to address the issue.”

Andhra Pradesh has recently witnessed the torching of the holy Ratham at the Antarvedi Temple and desecration of a few sculptures at the Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple and temple in Nellore. Ever since the YSRCP government came to power in the state, Hindu temples have been witnessing destruction, proving that the current Chief Minister is promoting a “Christian State.”

In the Parliament, Raju sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intervention in this regard, saying only a karma yogi shall address this issue. “Though Hindus are a majority in the state, we are being treated like a minority,” he charged.

The MP from Narsapuram also alleged that age-old rules in the famous Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala near Tirupati were being altered for the sake of one individual (the current Chief Minister). “They are changing the rules of the Hindu temples for the sake of one individual. This issue has to be addressed,” Raju said.

It was an oblique reference to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy's statement that "as Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy need not sign the mandatory declaration, confirming faith in Lord Venkateswara while visiting the temple on the Tirumala Hills. Non-Hindus are, as per rule, required to sign the declaration to visit the temple."

The rebel MP has been on a spree against Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his government’s wrongdoings in the name of religion, caste and law. From going against the courts to being adamant towards the state's law and order and allegedly causing religious divide in the state, RRR has been dropping truth bombs against YSRCP.

However, the people of the state seem to be least bothered about the lawlessness and atrocities happening in the state. But, political analysts say that Jagan may face unexpected consequences in the future for his actions, which will cost the people their lives and their future.
