Chandrababu Naidu Claims YSRCP funding social media smear campaign against TDP government

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday claimed that YSRCP social media smear campaign was being actively funded by Opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led coalition government in the state.

Chandrababu Naidu alleges YSRCP social media smear campaign

He alleged that YSRCP leaders were financing certain social media platforms to target him and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Talking to media persons in his constituency Kuppam in Chittoor district, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu remarked that the ‘Axe Party’ relies on violence and abusive language.

He accused the YSRCP of promoting factionalism and rowdyism.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that while the TDP-led coalition government was moving forward with welfare and development initiatives, some people were creating obstacles at every step.

Saying that extensive development activities are underway across the state, the Chief Minister added that no matter how many hurdles are created, the development works will not stop.

He alleged that the previous YSRCP government embroiled companies in controversies after allocating land to them and claimed that valuable land and mineral resources were tied up for the benefit of a single individual.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the modus operandi of YSRCP leaders has been to drive away companies and force industries to flee.

He mentioned that projects like Obulapuram and AnRak faced similar troubles.

“Now, they (YSRCP leaders) are claiming credit for every project actually initiated by the TDP-led coalition government,” he said while accusing the YSRCP leaders of spreading falsehood.

He also alleged that the previous YSRCP government turned the agency area into a hub for cannabis cultivation.

Now, the Centre has also launched a ‘Drug-Free India’ campaign.

He remarked that those who hurt the sentiments of devotees by adulterating the Tirumala ‘prasadam’ were now preaching morality.

Chandrababu Naidu highlights Kuppam development and new investments

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who visited Kuppam Assembly constituency for the third day on Sunday, said that the constituency is attracting an unprecedented number of industrial projects.

“We are enhancing connectivity — including roads and communication networks — across all sectors in the Kuppam constituency. People will soon witness a transformed, developed Kuppam. We intend to develop every constituency in the state in a similar manner,” he added.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government has formulated plans based on the policy of decentralised development to ensure progress across all regions.

“We are making efforts to attract investments in the quantum technology and semiconductor sectors. Operations at the quantum computing centre in Amaravati will commence by December. In the energy sector, alongside solar and wind power generation, we are introducing other state-of-the-art power supply systems.”

The Chief Minister added that major steel companies like ArcelorMittal and Jindal Steel Works are setting up their projects in Andhra Pradesh.
