Hai Lesso Reveals Sivaji’s Powerful Lailam Babu Look Ahead of Sudigaali Sudheer’s Rural Drama
The makers of director Prasanna Kumar Kota’s upcoming rural drama Hai Lesso have unveiled the first-look poster of actor Sivaji as Lailam Babu, giving fans a glimpse of one of the film’s most powerful characters ahead of its theatrical release. The film stars Sudigaali Sudheer (Sudheer Anand) in the lead role.
Taking to social media, Vajra Varahi Cinemas released Sivaji’s character poster on the occasion of his birthday and wrote:
“Team #HaiLesso wishes phenomenal actor @actorsivaji garu a very Happy Birthday. Witness him stun audiences as Lailam Babu in his most powerful avatar on the big screen soon.”

The newly released first-look poster presents Sivaji in an intense and rugged avatar, hinting at a strong antagonist role in the rural action drama.
The makers had earlier revealed that actress Naksha Saran plays a character named Jessy in the film as part of her birthday celebrations.
For the uninitiated, Hai Lesso marks the directorial debut of Prasanna Kumar Kota. The film went on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony in September last year.
Sudigaali Sudheer’s Fifth Film as Lead Hero
Interestingly, Hai Lesso also marks the production debut of Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under the Vajra Varahi Cinemas banner.
The film, previously referred to as Production No. 1, is the fifth movie featuring Sudigaali Sudheer as the lead actor.
Following his acclaimed performance in ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’, Sivaji will once again portray a powerful antagonist, adding significant weight to the film’s conflict.
Hai Lesso Title and Story Hint at a Rustic Rural Drama
Sources close to the team say the title Hai Lesso is inspired by a colloquial phrase commonly used in farming communities.
The title poster released earlier carried strong mythological and rustic themes. It featured a regal foot adorned with ornaments placed on a plantain leaf with ritual offerings and a blood-stained sword, suggesting a story rooted in tradition, sacrifice, power struggles, and intense village drama.
Star Cast and Technical Team of Hai Lesso
The grand launch event was attended by several notable personalities from the Telugu film industry. Actor Nikhil unveiled the title, while Bunny Vasu handed over the script. Directors Vassishta, Chandoo Mondeti, Meher Ramesh and VV Vinayak participated in the ceremonial launch.
Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran play the female leads, while Akshara Gowda appears in a pivotal role. Motta Rajendran, Getup Srinu and Bevara Duhitha Saranya also feature in key roles.
The film features music by Anudeep Dev, cinematography by Sujatha Siddarth, editing by Chota K. Prasad, production design by Brahma Kadali, and writing by Chintha Srinivas.
