The film was in the news just a few days ago when director Rawindra Pulle shared a picture of himself wearing a shirt bearing Rashmika’s hand imprints on social media, writing, “The blood marks are on their way.”

Unformula Films, the production house backing the film, had posted, “Signed in mud. Remembered in blood. #MYSAA shoot in progress with #RashmikaMandanna, bringing raw emotion, grit and brilliance to the screen like never before. In cinemas this 2026.”

Rashmika, while responding to the post, jokingly remarked, “We should have also mixed some blood and umber powder in this beautiful art of mine! Next time for sure! @rawindrapulle @unformulafilms.”

Mysaa shoot progresses after song and Kerala schedules

Only 10 days ago, director Rawindra Pulle disclosed that the team had wrapped up filming a song for the movie.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the filmmaker shared a picture from the sets and wrote, “#Mysaa song pack up.” The song featuring Rashmika Mandanna has been choreographed by renowned dance choreographer Brinda.

The film generated excitement earlier this year when Rashmika announced the completion of an extensive shooting schedule in Kerala.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Guys, a little update is that we successfully wrapped up a long schedule for #Mysaa in Kerala!!”

She added, “And these were some of the darlings who worked so so hard and made it all possible. Thank you guys and I’ll see you soon again on set.”

Rashmika Mandanna trained extensively for Mysaa action sequences

Sources close to the unit had earlier told thebetterandhra.com that stunt master Kecha Khampakdi choreographed several high-voltage action sequences filmed during the Kerala schedule. Rashmika is believed to have performed intense action scenes alongside key actors in the film.

Thebetterandhra.com had also reported that the actress underwent an intensive stunt and combat boot camp in Bangkok, Thailand, to prepare for the physically demanding role.

According to sources, Rashmika Mandanna trained for more than eight hours a day to prepare for the action sequences in Mysaa, reflecting the scale of the ambitious project.

Mysaa cast, story and technical crew

For the unaware, Rashmika plays a tribal Gond girl, a character that demands emotional vulnerability as well as physical ferocity.

Apart from Rashmika Mandanna, the film also stars Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles.

On the technical front, cinematography is by Shreyaas P Krishna, music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while international stunt choreographer Andy Long is overseeing the film’s action sequences.
